Description

O Cabalín Mencía 2018; Mencía and Garnacha tintorera for the most part with small percentages of merenzao, sousón and brancellao. Totally manual harvest and subsequent fermentation in barrels of 500 liters.

30% of the grapes are stepped on with scrape in the traditional way and the rest is destemmed, then an aging of 16 months is carried out in the same barrels.

In the mouth it has a powerful entrance but with a soft touch. It is a very tasty and balanced wine that combines fresh red fruit with ripe vegetables and spices with notes of smoked at the end of the tour. It has good persistence, excellent acidity and the fruit always predominates in it, which makes it very enjoyable.

  • The wine has a dark red-maroon color, with a border between rosé and violet.
  • On the nose it opens with very fresh and crispy red fruit and intense floral fragrance of violets. With oxygenation appears the black fruit (plums) and wooded aromas of trees and shrubs.
