Guímaro Mencía 2017; It is a young red wine from the winery of the same name, which carries in its composition, a declaration of intentions, mainly of the Mencíavarietal, but very well accompanied by the autochthonous castes: Caiño Tinto, Souson, Merenzaoand Brancellao.

These red varietals, used for the elaboration of this excellent broth, they are cultivated in vineyards of form and totally artisanal way, and cared in spectacular steeps, so-called so-boxes, in the zone of Amandi, one of the five sub-zones that compose the Appellation of Origin Ribeira Sacra.

Tasting……

  • Very lively, with a very intense cherry red color and flashing bluish edging. Long final tear.
  • Pleasant aromas of red fruit and notes reminiscent of sweets at first. Later it is more earthy and has touches of the surface.
  • It Is a bit sweet and has excellent acidity. It is unctuous and the tannins provide a highly pleasurable character.
