Description

Don Bernardino Mencía 2018, the winery in which it is made is located in an old stone building, in Sta. Cross of Brosmos, in the municipality of Sober, in the province of Lugo. It was renovated and modernized in the year 1.999, providing it with the latest technology in winemaking.

Vineyard, during all this time is renewed and spreading the vineyard with the queen variety of our area, the Mencía. Currently, more than 10 hectares and another 5 controlled, of small winemakers in the area under the direction of Emilio Rodriguez, which has allowed to produce about 60,000 bottles a year of excellent quality.

It has a cherry colour with violet reflections.
The nose is broad, with a fine and distinguished aromatic intensity, reinforced by the load of varietals typical of the Mencía grape.
In the mouth it is intense, elegant, balanced: a velvety wine, a well-assembled acidity, with a subtle, generous and round alcoholic strength that give it the elegance and peculiarity of the best Wines of Amandi.
