Description

Damana Crianza 2016; Red wine belonging to the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero, made with grapes from the Tempranillo varietal and from vines between the ages of 15 and 25.

In the winemaking process it has aged 12 months in French oak barrels 90% and American oak 10%.

Tasting…

Pleasant cherry red color quite intense, which is integrated into purple tones with a medium layer, slow and wide tear.
It has a strong interaction of intense aromas of fruits such as raspberry and plum, as well as notes of fennel, licorice and vanilla together with toasted nuances.
Its flavor is well balanced, with soft and elegant tannins. It is very broad and its aftertaste is very persistent.

Varietals used: 100% Tempranillo.

Vinification: Initial maceration at controlled temperature. Subsequently, it undergoes an alcoholic fermentation for twelve days with controlled temperatures to finally receive malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats. It is topped with 80% of the wine remaining for twelve months in one-year French oak barrels and the remaining 20% in American oak barrels.
