Carros y Bueyes Godello 2018, made in the Denomination of Origin Monterrei belonging to Bodegas Lagar de Pintos being a single variety Godello young.

Godello typical of the area of Monterrei (south of Ourense) where the climate is more continental than Atlantic and that is transmitted in wines with more warmth regardless of whether it is the same varietal.

It comes from vineyards of an average age of 35 years with a higher concentration of sugars in the grape which is transmitted to the wine, thanks to the higher temperatures in front of other areas of Galicia.

Godello Cars and Oxes 2018; it is an interesting wine, especially if you want to compare it with Godellos from other areas.

Tasting….

A straw yellow wine with golden tones that is very bright and clean in a standing glass. Golden reflections moving in the glass.
Intense nose, with predominance of white fruit, citrus and tropical touches. It is joined by a certain mineral aroma. Franco of aromas, it is very varietal Godello but with more intensity than other young wines made with this grape.
Fresh entry in the mouth as good young wine, but not without character as if it had some aging. Unctuous mid palate, broad and fruity. Quite persistent and returns the fruit in the aftertaste.
