Bouza do Rei Albariño 2022; is a white wine protected by the Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin, and produced by Bodegas Bouza do Rei. Olivia Poutas, the winemaker of the winery, produces this young white wine from a single grape variety, the Albariño, from vineyards in the Valle del Salnés sub-zone.
Currently, Bodegas Bouza do Rei controls the production of more than 100 hectares of vineyards.
Although the regulations of the Regulatory Council allow the use of other varieties, this winery produces monovarietal albariño grapes.
The star grape of the Denomination of Origin Rías Baixas is the Albariño, exceptional for its great capacity to produce sugars and its richness in numerous aromatic and flavor components, something that provides the wines with great finesse and elegance.
- Lemon yellow, with greenish reflections. Clean and very bright.
- Fragrant and very intense. Full of floral and fruity notes of great subtlety. I remember melon, apple and peach and tropical as lychee or passion fruit. Herbaceous touches.
- Soft touch, wide in gustatory nuances. Tasty and with very good fruit load. In retronasal it is persistent and fine.
