Description
Bouza do Rei Albariño 2018, is a white wine protected in the Denomination of Origin Rías Baixas, and produced by Bodegas Bouza do Rei. Olivia Poutas, the winemaker of the winery, produces this young white wine from a single grape variety, the Albariño, from vineyards in the Valle del Salnés sub-area.
Today, Bodegas Bouza do Rei controls the production of more than 100 hectares of vineyards.
Although the regulations of the Regulatory Consello allow the use of other varieties, this winery produces Albariño single-variety grapes.
The star grape of the Rías Baixas Designation of Origin is Albariño, exceptional for its great ability to produce sugars and its richness in numerous aromatic components and flavor, something that provides wines with great finesse and elegance.
Tasting…..
- Lemon yellow, with greenish reflections. Clean and very bright.
- Fragrant and very intense. Full of floral and fruity notes of great subtlety. I remember melon, apple and peach and tropical like lychee or passion fruit. Herbaceous touches.
- Soft, wide touch in taste nuances. Tasty and with very good fruity load. In retronasal is persistent and fine.
