Description
Abadía de Gomariz Ribeiro Tinto 2014; it is a wine belonging to the Ribeiro Denomination of Origin,produced by Bodegas Coto de Gomariz,with the native varieties, Sousón 50 and the other 50 from Brancellao, Ferrol and Mencía.
The soils where the vines grow are composed of shale, sand and clays and are located in the Avia Valley.
It has been aged for 12 months in 80-litre French and American 80-litre second-use oak barrels. Subsequently, a bottle tuning of a minimum of 6 months has been performed.
- Burgundy red, violet edges.
- Slightly candied fruit tones, balsamic. Good toast.
- Full-bodied, sweet, persistent finish.
